Job Overview

AESN Care is looking for an experienced Senior Care Worker to lead care teams and ensure the highest standards of person-centred care. You will supervise care staff, support service users, and ensure compliance with care regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to service users.
• Supervise and mentor Care Workers.
• Allocate daily duties and monitor performance.
• Support medication administration and maintain accurate records.
• Develop and review person-centred care plans.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and CQC standards.
• Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to care staff.
• Participate in staff training and induction.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a senior care role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and medication procedures.
• Ability to lead a team effectively.
• Flexible approach to shift work.
